Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi Revenue Minister Atishi has written to Delhi Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar in connection with providing ex-gratia relief to flood-affected families in Delhi.

Atishi said, “The family resided in the building, and today, they have suffered the painful loss of a mother and her child due to the balcony collapse.”
Giving a brief about the situation, Revenue Minister Atishi said in a statement "According to the latest update from the Central Water Commission, there is a possibility that the Yamuna river may cross the danger level by tomorrow evening."
Following flash floods caused by heavy rains in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, schools are to remain closed from July 20 to 22 in the Sangla and Nichar sub-division of the district, as per the Deputy Commissioner, Kinnaur district.
