Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC K Kavitha on Thursday accused Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of "gifting" the water of Godavari River to Andhra Pradesh, during a meeting with CM Chandrababu Naidu and Union Jal Shakti Minister C R Patil.
An Officers' and Technical Experts' committee will be established to address all pending issues between the two sides, including the long-pending water projects in Telangana for both the Krishna and Godavari river basins
The perspective of the meeting was to address ongoing water-related issues between the two states. The meeting was attended by the Ministers of Water Resources for both the states along with senior officers from States and Central Government.
