The Congress leader will be in Manipur on June 29 and 30 during which he is scheduled to visit relief camps and interact with civil society representatives in Imphal and Churachandpur.

Thousands of people in Assam's Bajali, Nalbari, and Barpeta districts have been affected and are taking shelter in relief camps after the flood waters of several tributaries of Brahmaputra river submerged their homes.
The relief operation organized by the Assam Rifles was focused on efficiently distributing relief materials and essential supplies to the affected civilians in the Government Dance College Relief camp in the Imphal West district.
"I appeal to the people who are with arms not to attack anything. Please maintain peace so that we can resource normalcy in the state....," said N Biren Singh while talking to reporters.
"I visited some relief camps and people are suffering. State Govt is going to construct pre-fabricated houses to accommodate them temporarily," Manipur CM said.
The evacuees lodged in relief camps, amid a threat from cyclone 'Biparjoy', which has already made landfall in India, complained of being provided with a one-time meal of potato curry, reported Pak vernacular media.
Governor of Manipur Anusuiya Uikey on Monday visited different relief centres in Churachandpur and interacted with the affected people; and later held a meeting with CSOs leaders at Headquarters 27 Sector Assam Rifles, Tuibong.
