Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting to review the Delhi Master Plan 2041 (MPD-2041), bringing together key stakeholder,s including Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
In an 'X' post shared by Delhi CM on her official 'X' handle, Rekha Gupta informed that 374 registered Kanwar committees have been granted permission within 48 hours through a single-window system.
The Delhi CM said that her government has broken the traditions, corruption, and mismanagement of the previous regime. CM Gupta stated that the work done by the Delhi government was "unprecedented" in itself.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday inaugurated several developmental projects in Shalimar Bagh, including a pilot project to convert overhead wires into an underground power network.
"This new government of Delhi (BJP government) has provided compensation of Rs 5 lakhs to the 24 affected people within 60 days of the incident. We have also waived off their rent for their shops. If we do not provide help to the people promptly, it is of no use to the affected people..." CM
Atishi highlighted the grave implications of the blanket ban on end-of-life (EOL) vehicles, stating that the move could adversely impact the lives of lakhs of middle-class families and senior citizens who depend on these vehicles for their daily needs.
The meeting was attended by Union Ministers Manohar Lal (Housing and Urban Affairs), CR Patil (Jal Shakti), Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, senior officials from the Delhi government, the Union Home Secretary, and secretaries from relevant ministries.
