Karnataka State Commission for Women on Monday wrote to Koppal Superintendent of Police Ram Arasiddi and urged the latter to submit the report of the legal action taken in the Hampi rape incident.
Following the alleged Hampi rape incident in which two women, including an Israeli national, were allegedly raped by three men, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara said that the government was taking the incident very seriously and many people have already been arrested.
"The horrific assault and rape of an Israeli national and a homestay owner in Sanapur, Gangavati taluk, Koppal district, is a deeply heinous crime," Karnataka CM posted on X.
