This comes after the Supreme Court dismissed the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) plea seeking investigation against his wife, BM Parvathi, in connection with the alleged irregularities with regard to illegal land allotments by Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA).
Congress whip in Lok Sabha Manickam Tagore on Monday gave Adjournment Motion notice in Lok Sabha, while Congress Rajya Sabha MP Randeep Surjewala has given a Suspension of Business notice under rule 267 to discuss the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor in the Parliament.
Following the Enforcement Directorate (ED) attaching 43 immovable properties worth Rs 37.64 crore linked to Robert Vadra, Congress General Secretary (Organisation) KC Venugopal alleged that the latest ED action against Robert Vadra was pure political vendetta.
The Congress MP noted that Bihar's voter list was finalised in January 2025, which was acknowledged by ECI itself. He stated that revisions were being made to the voter list until June this year following which suddenly it was rejected.
BJP Karnataka State President and MLA BY Vijayendra on Wednesday alleged that senior Congress leader and AICC Karnataka in-charge Randeep Surjewala has arrived in the state to prepare the groundwork for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's resignation.
"AICC general secretaries are meeting to discuss party organisation issues and accept requests from MLAs, but there is no discussion about changing the CM or expanding the cabinet," Shivakumar, who is also the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president, said.
"There is no change of leadership. I don't want anyone's support. My priority is for them (the party legislators) to win back the assembly elections," Shivakumar told ANI.
Earlier on Tuesday, Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge clarified that there is "no discontentment", "no talks of change in CM's face", asserting that Siddaramaiah is the Chief Minister, DK Shivakumar his deputy and Karnataka unit President.
"It is in the hands of the party high command. No one can say what is going on in the high command. It is left to the high command, and they have the right to take further action, but no one should create problems unnecessarily," Kharge told reporters.
Congress MP Randeep Surjewala slammed the BJP government over the issue of the Jagannath Puri stampede and asked when the "VIP syndrome" in the country will cease.
While addressing the issue of Congress general secretary and Karnataka in-charge Randeep Surjewala's visit, Siddaramaiah stressed that he has come to strengthen the party organisation.
While addressing the issue, Karnataka Home Minister G. Parameshwara stated that he was unaware of the reason behind Randeep Surjewala's visit and mentioned that he may discuss the party organisation ahead of the upcoming Zilla Panchayat and Taluk Panchayat elections.
