Addressing the weekly media brief, the MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that New Delhi has received a formal communication from Washington regarding participation in the Board and is currently examining the proposal.
"Consular access has been obtained. We have been able to go and meet all those individuals. Out of the sixteen people, eight have been released," Jaiswal said.
