CM Yadav made the remark while addressing the Akhand Ramayana recitation and bhajan competition program organised at Shri Ram Temple located in Anand Nagar in Bhopal on Saturday.
On behalf of the presiding priests at the ancient temple in Tamil Nadu's Tiruchirappalli, the Prime Minister was given a present in a basket which has to be taken to the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
This Ramayana has many qualities. First of all, it is the most expensive Ramayana in the world and it is also the most beautiful. Its price is Rs 1,65,000.
Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR)'s former President Dr Vinay Sahasrabuddhe has said that a group of 'Ramayana-Mahabharata' countries can also be constituted where these holy epics are deeply engraved in the culture.
Talking to the reporters, Meenakashi Lekhi said, "There are a lot of new things to see and learn in this festival. Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) has made a very good curation. There are performances and exhibitions from 7 countries."
