YSRCP leaders on Friday rejected allegations related to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) laddu preparation, asserting that claims of animal fat being used were baseless and politically motivated.
Affirming that laboratory reports had categorically stated there was no animal fat in the Tirupati laddu, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said the issue should be taken seriously and that Chandrababu should be held accountable for what he termed an irresponsible statement.
Meanwhile, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the phone-tapping case is likely to question Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president K. Chandrashekhar Rao at his Erravalli farmhouse in Siddipet district on Friday.
