Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh on Thursday expressed his disappointment alleging the deletion of dissent notes from the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) report on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, which was tabled in the Rajya Sabha today.
Congress National President and Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, on Thursday opposed the JPC report, alleging that dissent notes from Opposition members were removed.
Opposition MPs alleged that the JPC on the Waqf Bill is "biased" and "one-sided," adding that the dissent notes submitted by the panel members weren't included in the JPC report.
Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Dimple Yadav on Thursday asserted that the entire opposition is united against the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) report on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024, which was tabled in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday.
