Union Home Minister Amit Shah is all set to move the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2023, in Rajya Sabha on Monday.

The House will reconvene on Monday at 11 am. Soon after the House reassembled after its first adjournment at 12 noon, the Opposition party members reiterated their demand to hold a comprehensive discussion on Manipur ethnic violence issue under Rule 267.
The House was adjourned till Monday as both Treasury benches and the Opposition parties were adamant on their demands to discuss atrocities against women in Rajasthan and Manipur violence, respectively, leading to a ruckus in the House.
"Many big leaders have received the privilege motion notice in the past. Leaders like Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Indira Gandhi and Dr Manmohan Singh have received this notice. So I feel proud to have joined this list of leaders. I am in this august company now," Chadha said while speaking to ANI.
In a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha, Jitendra Singh informed that out of these 135 cases, charge-sheets have been filed in 57 cases in the concerned Courts for trial.
