Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned till March 10 on Thursday with the JPC report on the Waqf Amendment Bill tabled in Parliament and the two Houses completing debate on the Union Budget with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman replying to marathon discussion.
Both houses of Parliament, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned for the day today, amid protests by the Opposition on the remarks made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on B R Ambedkar.
This comes as the opposition carries out protests at the Parliament premises over the remarks made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Rajya Sabha regarding Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Earlier in the day, the House was adjourned till 2 pm. However, after it reconvened in the afternoon, the House continued to witness the uproar as the Opposition members demanded discussions on various notices they had submitted. The House had to be adjourned within half an hour.
The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha proceedings have been adjourned till 2 pm amid ruckus in the Parliament for the 12th day of the winter session on Monday.
