BJP's winning candidate from Rajouri Garden Assembly constituency Manjinder Singh Sirsa shared his brief conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, following his victory against AAP's Dhanwati Chandela.
Sirsa also represented the constituency in the 2017 Delhi by-elections. However, in the 2020 Delhi Assembly polls, Manjinder Sirsa lost Rajouri Garden seat to AAP's same candidate, Chandela.
Sirsa further took a dig at the Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal over his allegations of 'poaching' of AAP MLAs and candidates by BJP. Sirsa stated that Kejriwal's allegations shows that they have "already accepted their defeat".

A massive fire had broken out at the restaurant located in West Rajouri Garden area on December 9 resulting in the injury of one woman. No casualties were reported.
Fire was doused off by 11 fire tenders who reached on the spot upon receiving information.
The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) in a statement earlier in the day said that the fire was caused due to a short circuit. One woman was injured in the fire incident which has been brought under control. There have been no casualties reported in the incident.
