Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's initiative 'SECURE' that reflected India's commitment towards the multi-dimensional welfare of the region at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) conclave.

Notably, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh did not exchange handshakes with Li ahead of the bilateral meeting with his Chinese counterpart Li, while, he had handshakes with Tajik, Iran and Kazakh counterparts ahead of the bilateral.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be chairing SCO Defence Ministers' Meeting on April 28th and Pakistani Defence Minister Khawaja Asif is set to attend the meeting through virtual mode.
