Meghalaya Police have apprehended three individuals in connection with this case- two from Indore, Madhya Pradesh and one from Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh, in the Indore Couple Case. Also, Sonam Raghuvanshi has voluntarily surrendered at the Nandganj Police Station in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh.
On Indore's Raghuvanshi couple case, Addl. DCP (Crime) Rajesh Dandotiya said that three suspects, Raj Kushwaha, Vishal Chauhan and Akash Rajput, were detained from Indore and a nearby area. The Police are questioning them at an undisclosed location.
On the Indore couple case, Meghalaya Minister Alexander Laloo Hek said that Raja Raghuvanshi's family blamed the Meghalaya government and police, but the police did an 'excellent' job nabbing the culprits.
Responding to reports of Raj Kushwaha's alleged involvement--an employee of Raja's wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi--Raja's brother, Vipul Raghuvanshi, has now stated that as the new names surface, the Meghalaya government is not lying about the involvement of others.
Ghazipur Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr Neeraj Raja spoke to the media regarding the Indore couple case and said that Sonam Raghuvanshi is currently at the One Stop Centre, and the Meghalaya Police will take the advance legal action.
Late Raja Raghuvanshi's mother, Uma Raghuvanshi, said that if Sonam Raghuvanshi is involved in the murder, she should be hanged. She also asked the police to first interrogate the other three accused.
