Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) in its latest report said nine people had died over the last 24 hours, including two in Swat, two in Battagram, four in Mansehra and one in Buner.
Heavy rains have battered Himachal Pradesh, triggering floods and landslides across the state with more than 90 people having died in the state due to rain-related incidents since June 24.

Two people were killed after the wall of their house collapsed in Manshera. Meanwhile, a woman was killed and six others were injured in Buner due to a roof collapse. Two people were injured after the roof collapsed in Mardan.
Farooq Ahmed, a spokesperson for the provincial emergency services, released a statement blaming the fatalities on electricity, drowning, and lightning.
According to the statement, 10 people were injured in wall and roof collapse incidents in Lahore, three in Chiniot and one in Sheikhupura. Meanwhile, seven people were wounded after they were hit by lightning.
