Following the loss of 18 lives in stampede at New Delhi Railway Station, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that the administration will take appropriate action to prevent such incidents in future.
Speaking to ANI, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi said, "It is extremely unfortunate and is the responsibility of the Indian Railways and the Rail Minister, who denies taking accountability of the incident".
