The fog condition in New Delhi worsened again on Sunday morning. Visibility recorded at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport was 400 metres as per IMD, though it is expected to increase to 800M till the early hours of Sunday evening.
The incident was reported to have taken place on Friday near Telta Railway Station under the police station of Balrampur in Katihar district. The right side glass window of a coach of the 22302 down Vande Bharat Express was reported damaged.
The Superintendent of Police, Railways, Anuradha said that the train officials immediately called the Railway police and bomb squad, who checked the entire train and disclosed the call as "fake".
According to Railways, the new Vande Bharat express which reached Visakhapatnam was found filled with filth and trash. The coaches were found to be very dirty even after the onboard housekeeping staff attended at regular intervals.
According to a Pakistan Railways spokesperson in Balochistan, the blast occurred when the Peshawar-bound Jaffer Express was passing by the Paneer area. The Pakistani newspaper said the train, which was coming from the Mach area, derailed and exploded.
