As many as 19 Delhi-bound trains were reported to be running behind schedule after heavy fog shrouded the national capital and vast swathes of North India on Tuesday morning, significantly reducing visibility, railway officials informed.

On this occasion, addressing a gathering of Railway officials across India, Minister Vaishnaw emphasized the manual's pivotal role in diverse construction-related endeavours.
As many as 20 trains are expected to arrive late in the national capital on Monday due to fog in several parts of the country, the railway officials said.
A goods train that was coming towards Chennai Harbour carrying iron-related rods derailed near Chengalpattu last night around 10.30 pm. More than 5 coaches have derailed, said Railway Officials.
