In a major crackdown on local terrorists, the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Doda Police on Saturday carried out raids at multiple locations in the Gandoh area of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Following its crackdown on terror elements the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) raided the residential houses of three suspects in the Awantipora town of Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Wednesday.
In a massive day-long operation, the National Investigation Agency (NIA), in coordination with Punjab and Haryana Police, on Wednesday raided 324 locations as part of "Operation Dhvast" in eight states in terrorist-gangster-drug smugglers nexus cases.
NIA is conducting searches at more than 100 locations in six states including Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Madhya Pradesh.
The anti-terror agency in close coordination with state police forces conducted these raids since early Wednesday at the premises and other places linked to suspects. The raids are still going on.
