The Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi which entered Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday resumed from Manser in Kangra district on Wednesday morning before heading towards its last leg in Kashmir.
Manpreet Singh Badal on Wednesday resigned from the primary membership of the Congress party and alleged that the Punjab unit of the Congress supported "factionalism."
Braving the biting cold, several people, including Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu joined Rahul Gandhi in the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
"'Bharat Jodo' yatra will enter Jammu from Punjab, and we will be making all the security arrangements possible. Guidelines for the yatra will depend upon the type of road they will be travelling and the traffic," J&K DGP Dilbag Singh said.

A security breach emerged at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra when an unknown man came out of the crowd and embraced Rahul in Tanda in Punjab's Hoshiarpur district.

Congress' Bharat Jodo Yatra resumed at Jhingar Khurd village of Hoshiarpur's Tanda in Punjab on Tuesday. During the yatra, an unknown man rushed in and hugged Rahul Gandhi.
"Rahul ji, it is better if you don't speak rubbish in Punjab. The people of Punjab have made me the CM while Channiji was made by Rahul Gandhi. In just 2 minutes, you had removed the elected CM Captain Saheb from Delhi by insulting him. It is better you don't speak," tweeted Mann.
