On Friday, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping discussed bilateral relations and regional problems via a closed secure channel. During the call, Putin invited Xi to come to Moscow next year.
Xi stressed that both sides should further make good use of existing mechanisms to push for progress in cooperation on economy, trade, energy, finance and agriculture. China is ready to resume normal cross-border travel with Russia and other countries in an orderly manner, Xi said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping are likely to communicate via video link his week, Russian state news agency TASS said on Monday, without giving details of the timing or format.
