PTI senior vice-president Fawad Chaudhry will write a letter to Alvi regarding the tenure of the Punjab interim government headed by Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
Court's Justice Abid Hussain Chattha has notified the Punjab caretaker government led by Mohsin Naqvi of handing over the 45,267 acres of land to the Pakistan Army on lease in three districts i.e. Bhakkar, Khushab and Sahiwal, for a corporate agriculture farming project.
In a recent move, the Lahore High Court (LHC) dismissed a plea challenging the appointment of Mohsin Raza Naqvi as the caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, The News International reported.
According to a notification being shared on social media, the Punjab caretaker government has imposed a ban on all kinds of assemblies, gatherings and rallies citing "serious security threats" and fears of "disruption of traffic".
The ECP shared a press release on Twitter saying, "#ECP has unanimously decided to appoint Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi as Care-Taker Chief Minister Punjab." PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry rejected the decision taken by ECP and said that the commission "never failed to disappoint."
