Meanwhile, Gautam Adani and Ajit Pawar, along with NCP-SCP chief Sharad Pawar, inaugurated the Sharadchandra Pawar Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence in Baramati, Pune district.
Following the meeting, NCP SP leader Azam Pansare told mediapersons that he and Ajit Pawar had a discussion on a lot of general issues and expressed the wish to have an alliance between the two parties.

Mukhtar Shaikh joined the NCP along with his son Wiqar Ahmed Mukhtar Shaikh, who is also a probabale candidate for upcoming civic poll. Shaikh had earlier served as Vice President of the Pune City Congress and was considered a prominent minority face of the party in the city.

With temperatures in parts of Pune City dipping around 10 degrees Celsius, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on Tuesday issued a directive public appeal banning open bonfires in the city, stating that the practice is contributing to deteriorating air quality.
Ahead of the upcoming civic polls, hundreds of Shiv Sena party workers gathered outside the regional Pune Municipal Corporation office at Hadapsar area of Pune City to protest against the administration over various civic issues in the city on Monday.
Maharashtra's Health Department has reported a growing number of suspected Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) cases, with 173 individuals detected so far. Out of these, 140 patients have been diagnosed with the disease, and one death has been confirmed as related to GBS.
The PMC took action against these plants after collecting water samples that were found unfit for drinking. Some plants lacked proper permission to operate, while others were contaminated with Escherichia coli bacteria.
Expressing concerns over the increasing cases, Maharashtra Health Minister Prakash Abitkar, said that 73 patients had been diagnosed with GB syndrome. "Of the 101 suspected patients, 73 have been diagnosed with GBS. There has been one death," the minister told ANI during his visit here.
