The demand was made by the Delhi Police in view of the possibility of a large number of protesters from Haryana coming to the women's Maha Panchayat called by the wrestlers on the day of the inauguration of the new Parliament building by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Earlier in the day, the protesting wrestlers who were trying to march towards the new Parliament from their site of protest at Jantar Mantar were stopped and detained by the security personnel in Delhi on Sunday.
"So without any investigation into who was responsible for arson on a government building or dozens of deaths of unarmed protesters by bullet wounds, around 7000 PTI workers, leadership and our women have been jailed with plans to ban the largest and only federal party in Pak," Khan tweeted
The protesters held placards and shouted slogans calling for accountability and non-interference from any front as the police continues their investigation.
PML-N leader Marriyum Aurangzeb while addressing a press conference in Islamabad said that "a few hundred armed protesters and terrorists have been attacking" the country and state properties regarding the protest by PTI supporters.
