In a major thrust to infrastructure and connectivity, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth over Rs 11,300 crore in Telangana on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM said, "Today's day will prove to be helpful in ushering in a new era of development in Vidhansabha Kaladhungi. These 36 schemes are related to public interest areas like construction of motorways, development of drinking water and irrigation potential."
These projects will be developed in tandem with the PM GatiShakti principles using the integrated and holistic approach, according to a statement from the ministry of commerce and industry.
Construction will begin imminently on the plants, which will have a combined capacity of around 900 megawatts - the largest solar development programme in the region.
