President Droupadi Murmu hosted a farewell dinner for the outgoing Council of Ministers, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Wednesday.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has submitted his resignation, along with his council of ministers, to President Droupadi Murmu ahead of the formation of the next Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA government.
"On Goa's statehood day, I convey my greetings to all the residents of Goa. Goa is a land of great natural beauty and vibrant culture. The people of Goa are known for their progressive values and hospitality," President Murmu posted on X.
President Murmu noted that a strong momentum has been witnessed in the bilateral relations between India and Guyana in recent months and new areas are opening to further enhance the bilateral partnership.
