The Delhi government issued an advisory on COVID-19 and asked for necessary preparedness after 23 COVID-19 positive cases were reported. However, according to the experts, the situation is under control in Delhi.
Dengue outbreak in Manipur has reached an alarming state with the health department confirming 1,311 positive cases and three deaths from January 1 to October 10.
In early June this year, an outbreak of Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) began in Gujarat, in children under 15 years of age and as of July 31, 140 AES cases were reported in the state out of which 59 have died.
Additional Director of the Gujarat Health Department Nilam Patel said that a total of 23 positive cases of Chandipura virus have been detected across the state till July 24 and 10 deaths have been confirmed due to the virus.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday said that the state has reported 7,362 positive cases to date in Karnataka and instructed the officials to eliminate mosquito breeding sites.

As COVID cases show an upward trend in multiple states, reaching 3742 active patients on Sunday, concerns mount with the highest reported cases in Kerala, where a new variant, JN.1, has emerged.
The dengue outbreak had taken the worst toll on Bangladesh, as 109 deaths were recorded and 20,465 positive cases in the past 21 days, making July the worst month.
