Shraddha was brought to the hospital on December 3, 2020, and was admitted for four days. She had complained of severe back and shoulder pain with radiculopathy. She however did not reveal the cause of the injuries.
The five-member team of Delhi police met officials of the Manikpur police of Maharashtra and sought their assistance in the investigation of the case.

The accused during questioning told the police that on May 18, he had an argument with Shraddha over managing household expenses and bringing some stuff from Mumbai to Delhi.
One of the neighbours of Aftab Poonawalla, an accused in the Shraddha Walker murder case, on Thursday said that he had seen the woman only once since they shifted to their new location, while also adding that the accused always kept his doors locked.
"The series of such similar events have led to a scenario of perpetual fear, profound distrust bordering on a sense of alarm in the community and is, therefore, definitely a case of great concern for all legislators across the world," the letter read.
The Delhi Police sources claimed that he had first chopped her body into 35 pieces, then burnt her face in such a way that it becomes unidentifiable even if the body parts are discovered.
According to the sources, the East Delhi Police had found a chopped head and hand in the Trilokpuri area of Pandav Nagar police station area of the national capital in June this year, which was nearly a month after Shraddha was murdered (on May 18).
The father of the deceased, Vikas Madan Walker, said that Shraddha considered Aftab a right man, which is why she did not listen to his advice of not being in a relationship with him.
Diving deeper into the investigation in the Shraddha Walker murder case, Delhi Police has found blood stains in the kitchen of accused Aftab Amin Poonawalla's flat in Delhi's Chhatarpur. The blood samples have been sent for examination to ascertain whose blood it is.
The family of Aftab Amin Poonawalla, an accused in the Shraddha Walker murder case, has fled to an unknown location and is now untraceable, the Manikpur police station in Maharashtra said on Wednesday.
Shehzad said that this allegation was being made at the behest of AAP supremo and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal because in the last few days he had exposed the "lootera" face of AAP.
