Speaking to ANI, Scindia said, "Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the people of Assam have given a landslide victory to the BJP and our alliance in the local elections, setting a new record and a new milestone."
The BJP leader suspected that the government might be in collusion with the AIMIM party to deliberately ignore Hindu temples and accused them of being done to appease the voters ahead of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation polls.
