Gorakhpur Lok Sabha candidate Ravi Kishan on Saturday arrived at a polling booth in Gorakhpur and queued up in the line to cast his vote , emphasizing that politicians are "servants of the public, not VIP".
Samajwadi Party's Lok Sabha candidate from Ghazipur, Afzal Ansari cast his vote at a polling booth in the constituency on Saturday. He is pitted against BJP's Paras Nath Rai and BSP's Umesh Kumar Singh.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also posted on X and appealed to voters, especially in Uttar Pradesh to elect a government that works on development issues.
