A total of 133 habitual drug smugglers have been identified under different police stations in Dehradun following the instruction of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dehradun, Ajay Singh.

"Under the Drug-Free Devbhoomi 2025 campaign of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Dehradun police has taken action against drug smugglers in various police stations," Ajay Singh, SSP Dehradun told ANI.
"As a precautionary measure to prevent any untoward incidents during the Ganesh idol immersion in the city, the police department has ordered to ban the sale of alcohol in various police stations until September 30," said police.
The Delhi High Court while quashing an FIR for alleged cheating and other offences directed three persons including two accused and the complainant to distribute uniform socks worth Rs 48,000 to Delhi police personnel of six police stations.
The Delhi High Court has recently quashed two FIRs lodged for stone pelting in a property dispute by relatives. However, the high court directed 24 persons involved in the cases to do a basic cleaning duty in four police stations.
