Nepal's Civil Aviation Authority on Sunday said that 68 passengers on board the ATR-72 Yeti Airlines flight, which crashed somewhere between the old airport of Pokhara region and the Pokhara International Airport, were confirmed dead.
"Deeply grieved on hearing about the air crash in Pokhara, Nepal. Our thoughts are with the affected families," the minister tweeted on his official twitter handle @DrSJaishankar.
After the Yeti Airlines Flight ATR-72 crash the government has also declared a day of national mourning tomorrow and a five-member committee will be formed to investigate the crash.

A total of 16 bodies have been recovered from the site of the crash of a passenger aircraft in Nepal's Pokhara, the spokesperson of Nepal Army confirmed on Sunday.
Ahead of the inauguration of Nepal's new Pokhara airport, in a surprise announcement on Saturday, the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu tweeted, "This (Pokhara airport) is the flagship project of the China-Nepal Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) cooperation."
Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Sunday inaugurated the country's third international airport, built in the backdrop of the Annapurna Mountain Range with Chinese loans and donations.
