The Prime Minister said that West Bengal is suffering due to TMC misrule, and people are seeing the BJP with hope and are convinced that only the BJP can deliver on development.
Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to West Bengal, Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar said that under the leadership of the PM, the state would undergo transformation.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bihar and West Bengal on Friday and will lay the foundation stone, inaugurate and dedicate to the nation multiple development projects worth over Rs 7,200 crore at Motihari in Bihar at around 11:30 AM.
A youth from naxal-affected Bijapur visited Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly in Raipur in the presence of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Deputy CM Vijay Sharma on Thursday.
However, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav said that the INDIA Bloc will also hold a meeting at the residence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on the same day.
Launching attacks on ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) government in West Bengal, the Prime Minister said that the people of state are suffering due to TMC's "misrule" and are seeing the BJP with hope.
"PM has taken the resolve to build a developed India by 2047. With the manner in which he has worked in 11 years with the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas Sabka, Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas, India's prestige globally has been enhanced...," CM Sai said.
In a post on X, PM Modi said, "Will be in Motihari, Bihar, tomorrow, 18th July. Development works worth Rs. 7200 crore will be dedicated to the nation or their foundation stones would be laid. These works cover Software Technology Parks, four new Amrit Bharat trains, road projects and more."
The initiative was issued as a standing order by the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) and focused on curbing emissions of particulate matter (PM) 2.5 and PM 10, which are known to be major contributors to the city's deteriorating air quality.
