Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to freedom fighter Udham Singh on his death anniversary on Thursday and said that his bravery is an inspiration for people of India.
The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) shared details of the meeting on the social media platform X, posting, "Governor of Haryana, Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh, met Prime Minister @narendramodi."

The Prime Minister also launched a scathing attack on Congress, saying the party is dependent on Pakistan for issues, while India is moving ahead at a fast pace towards self-reliance.
Seven groups of all party delegations, including Opposition MPs such as NCP-SCP's Supriya Sule, Congress party's Shashi Tharoor, AIMIM chief Asaddudin Owaisi, and former ambassadors, visited several nations across the globe to promote India's policy of zero tolerance against terrorism.
Earlier in July, the Union Cabinet, chaired by PM Narendra Modi, approved the National Sports Policy (NSP) 2025, also called as 'Khelo Bharat Niti', a landmark initiative aimed at reshaping the country's sporting landscape and empowering citizens through sports.
