A day after he spoke of connection between India and Poland through kabaddi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Michal Spiczko, President of the Kabaddi Federation of Poland, and its Board member Anna Kalbarczyk in Warsaw
The demonstration was staged under the leadership of AICC in-charge of Madhya Pradesh Jitendra Singh, MP Congress Chief Jitu Patwari and Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar and several senior Congress leaders were also present on the occasion.
US Congressman Don Beyer said that it will be "very healthy" for India-US relationship if the Democratic Party wins the presidential elections in November.
PM Modi stated that he will be meeting his Polish counterpart Donald Tusk and Poland's President Andrzej Duda. He stated that the ties between two nations will be further strengthened through these meetings.
Ahead of his visit to Ukraine, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said that India has always advocated for permanent peace in the region, adding that it believes in dialogue and diplomacy to resolve conflict.
The Prime Minister also recalled how Jam Saheb of Nawanagar Digvijaysinhji Ranjitsinhji Jadeja gave shelter to Polish women and children during the World War II. He stated that he is still remembered as 'Good Maharaja' in Poland.
In a post on X, PM Modi wrote, that the memorial is a tribute to the great Royal Family of Kolhapur, who was at the forefront of giving shelter to Polish women and children displaced due to the horrors of World War II.
