Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Telangana to lay the foundation stone and dedicate multiple developmental projects worth more than Rs 13,500 crore to the nation in the poll-bound state on Sunday.
Chugh expressed the significance of the Prime Minister's visit, saying, "This visit by PM Narendra Modi is of great importance. People are already excited to listen to him. The people of Telangana hold Prime Minister Modi in high regard."
Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Telangana, BRS Working president KTR on Tuesday hit out at PM Modi over his Telangana formation remark and said that the PM should apologise to the people of the state.
"You people had never thought that one day your state of Telangana will be stuck in the claws of dynastic politics. They think only about the future of their children," the PM said while addressing a rally in Warangal in Telangana.
From Warangal, PM Modi will travel to Bikaner in Rajasthan, to dedicate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth over Rs 24,300 crore, a PMO statement earlier informed.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Telangana on July 8 to participate in several official programmes and a Public meeting in Warangal, said Telangana BJP leadership.
"Hundreds of farmers are committing suicide in the country every day but the PM, and state leaders aren't bothered, they're bringing and showing us Cheetahs from Africa, Namibia," Telangana CM said.
The projects include laying the foundation stone of AIIMS Bibinagar, Hyderabad; five National Highway projects and the redevelopment of Secunderabad Railway Station.
Prime Minister Modi said, "In today's new India, it is our priority to fulfill the aspirations of the countrymen. But a handful of people are very agitated by these development works. People, who keep nurturing dynastic rule, nepotism and corruption, are irked by those who work honestly.
