Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute 51,000 appointment letters under Rozgar Mela on Tuesday through video conferencing. He will also address these appointees on the occasion.
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Thursday took a swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Rashtriya Rozgar Mela in which appointment letters were distributed to 71,000 new recruits, and said that he is distributing "recruitment letters" in the name of employment.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that India's resolve to become the world's third-largest economy can be achieved by imparting skills to youth.
The Prime Minister launched the concept of Rozgar Mela at the central level on the occasion of Dhanteras in the year 2022. This was the beginning of the campaign to provide 10 lakh jobs at the central level of government.
"Rozgar Mela has become an identity of our good governance. It is a testament to our commitment towards keeping our promises," the Prime Minister said at the event which he said was the first Rozgar Mela of the year 2023.
"In the business world, it is said, 'The consumer is always right'. Similarly, 'Citizen is always right' should be the motto of Governance," PM Modi said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday interacted with newly-inducted recruits in government departments and organisations, via video conferencing and inquired about their experiences.
He also appealed to them to take care of the trust that Prime Minister Narendra Modi keeps in them to build 'Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat' and work being a 'Karmoyogi' as PM Modi desires.
Addressing the event, PM Modi said that schemes like 'Make in India' or 'Vocal for Local' are creating employment and self-employment opportunities in the country.
