Taiwan recorded the presence of 27 PLA aircraft, 11 PLAN vessels and 3 official ships operating around its territory on Sunday, as reported by Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence (MND).
Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence (MND) reported Saturday that 12 sorties by People's Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft crossed the Taiwan Strait median line and flew into the island's southern and southeastern air defence identification zone (ADIZ).
Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence detected 20 Chinese military sorties and five naval vessels in its territorial waters as of 6 am (local time) on Wednesday.
In a post on X, the MND stated that of the eight sorties, six crossed the median line and entered Taiwan's southwestern and eastern Air Defence Identification Zones (ADIZs).
"18 sorties of PLA aircraft, 7 PLAN vessels and 1 official ship operating around Taiwan were detected up until 6 a.m. (UTC+8) today. 12 out of 18 sorties crossed the median line and entered Taiwan's northern and southwestern ADIZ. We have monitored the situation and responded," the ministry
One of the eight sorties crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered the island's northern air defence identification zone (ADIZ), according to a statement released by the ministry on X.
"6 sorties of PLA aircraft and 7 PLAN vessels operating around Taiwan were detected up until 6 a.m. (UTC+8) today. 2 out of 6 sorties crossed the median line and entered Taiwan's southwestern ADIZ. We have monitored the situation and responded, " MND wrote in an X post.
