Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday visited the Pantha Chowk transit camp in Srinagar to review the ongoing arrangements for the pilgrims ahead of the upcoming Amarnath Yatra 2025.
"Today, I had the honour of bidding a warm see-off to the first batch of 178 Hajj pilgrims from Sheikh-ul-Alam International Airport, Srinagar. Wished them a safe, fulfilling journey and humbly requested prayers for peace and prosperity in our region," J&K CMO posted on X.

Of the 51 women, 20 are from Delhi, 22 from Uttar Pradesh, two from Bihar, four from Jammu and Kashmir, one from Punjab, and two from Uttarakhand -- showing broad regional participation.
The portals for the Shri Kedarnath Dham were opened for the devotees two days after the beginning of the Char Dham Yatra. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was present on the occasion and welcomed the pilgrims.

Pawan Rana, a helicopter operator, said, "Online tickets are available on IRCTC, while offline tickets can be obtained through the District Magistrate or Sector Magistrate. We operate around 20 to 30 shuttles daily, serving over 150 pilgrims."
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday assured that the government is closely monitoring the situation to prevent any issues for pilgrims. He mentioned that a master plan is being developed to make the journey to Yamunotri Dham more accessible.
