The United Arab Emirates has expressed its solidarity with the Republic of the Philippines following the two earthquakes that struck the southern part of the country, resulting in a number of deaths.
According to initial reports from local authorities, strong tremors were felt across parts of Mindanao, including Davao. Officials have urged residents to remain alert and follow safety advisories.

An earthquake of magnitude 4.7 struck 157 km South South East of Sarangani, Philippines on Thursday, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported.
