Congress Lok Sabha candidate Sukhjinder Singh from Gurdaspur constituency arrived with his family at the designated polling to cast their votes in the seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
Meanwhile, voting is underway in West Bengal's nine seats including-- Barasat, Basirhat, Diamond Harbour, Dum Dum, Jaynagar, Jadavpur, Kolkata Dakshin, Kolkata Uttar, and Mathurapur.

The seventh phase marks a grand finish to the world's largest polling marathon that began on 19th of last month and already covered six phases and 486 Lok Sabha seats.

The elections, held in seven phases, from April 19 saw people exercising their democratic right even as temperatures rose in peak summer. The Election Commission made special efforts to ensure large participation of people in the elections.
