From the state of Odisha to the global stage of the United Nations General Assembly, Ranjeeeta Priyadarshini has come a long way to put forward her voice on the issue of paid period leaves that had sparked significant conversations around menstrual health and well-being of women.
According to the petition, Bihar is the only state in India that has been providing two days of special menstrual pain leave to women since 1992 through its Human Resources.
