Officials on the Greek island of Rhodes said Saturday they had moved 30,000 people threatened by wildfires to safety, including 2,000 who had to be ferried off beaches.
Delhi Government said that 22,803 people have been shifted to tents and shelters and 16 teams of NDRF have been deployed in flood-affected districts in rescue work.
A total of 23,692 people were evacuated on Thursday from the adjacent areas of the Yamuna River in Delhi, as the water level continues to rise, continuously surpassing the danger mark, an official statement said.
