PCB Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf will travel to India on Thursday to witness the match between Pakistan and India in Ahmedabad on Saturday
Downplaying his alleged controversial remarks "dushman mulk" after the Pakistan cricket team landed in Hyderabad, Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) Management Committee Chairman, Zaka Ashraf called India a "traditional rival".
Former Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Najam Sethi questioned the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on its decision to award the hosting rights of the Asia Cup to Sri Lanka as opposed to the UAE.
In an interview with Cricket Pakistan, PCB chair Ashraf said Misbah-ul-Haq, the former captain of Pakistan's cricket team, will be the newly-formed management committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The Court was hearing a case which claimed that the governing board of the PCB was formed in violation of the 2014 constitution. The Court did not hear the PCB's arguments and issued notices to all stakeholders to attend the next session.
"Salaam everyone! I don't want to be a bone of contention between Asif Zardari and Shehbaz Sharif. Such instability and uncertainty is not good for PCB. Under the circumstances, I am not a candidate for Chairmanship of PCB. Good luck to all stakeholders," he tweeted.
"As far as India and Pakistan go, neither the PCB or the BCCI can take decisions. The respective governments only can take decisions," Sethi said during a press conference on Friday.

The PCB and the BCCI will face off in Bahrain over their disagreement surrounding the Asian Cricket Council calendar of events announcement made by the ACC president and Indian board secretary Jay Shah, which the PCB claims was made "unilaterally" without consulting the Pakistan board.
