It will be the first session after former Leader of Opposition and NCP leader, Ajit Pawar, broke ranks with his uncle, Sharad Pawar, who is also the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo and joined hands with the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance along with a bunch of NCP MLAs.
While addressing the joint press conference alongside Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, Ajit Pawar said,"We will answer all the questions which came from opposition side in this monsoon session. We will solve Maharashtra people's problem."
"Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar along with the cabinet members were present in the meeting," Maharashtra CMO said.
While speaking over questions about whether NCP is with the incumbent government or is in opposition, cleared the air and stated that they are not in government.
The Mumbai police said that MP Sanjay Raut had made serious allegations against the Chief Minister's office, stating that dealings are going on with the criminals lodged in the jail from the CM's office.
A day after the major cabinet expansion in Eknath Shinde-led government, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA Rohit Pawar on Saturday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been trying to create a dispute between the ministers of the NCP who joined the Shinde Faction.
