Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik virtually welcomed over 30 newly recruited officers who joined the state Handloom, Textiles and Handicrafts Department, and said that they that have come through a fair and transparent process under the 5-T framework of governance.
"Covid-19 cases have been on the rise across the country. But the majority of the infections are mild. The rate of hospitalisation hasn't gone up either. It's not a panic-like situation yet," Guleria told ANI.
"Baripada recorded 43.5°C, which is the highest temperature recorded in Odisha this month," Umashankar Das, a senior scientist at India Meteorological Department (IMD), told ANI.
"The treatment of regular service period/regularisation of teachers was under consideration of the government, now therefore, Government is pleased to consider the regular service period/ regularisation of such teachers joining on contractual mode/ Initial appointees," the notification said.
"In order to conserve fish population the Odisha Government has imposed the Two Month Uniform Ban on fishing within territorial waters along the entire Coastline of the State, starting from April 15," the official statement said.
It has issued notices to the Chief Secretary, Government of Bihar, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna, and the Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation calling for a detailed report in the matter within six weeks.
