The Patiala House Court on Friday reserved an order on Chaitanyanand Saraswati's plea for the supply of a copy of the seizure memo linked with the molestation case.
The Principal District and Sessions judge, Anju Bajaj Chandan, assigned the bail matter to Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Deepti Devesh for hearing on Monday.
Accused in the molestation case, Chaitanyananda Saraswati, has moved an application seeking bail. He is running in judicial custody after police interrogation. Patiala House Court is to hear the bail application tomorrow.
The Patiala House Court on Wednesday asked Delhi police to file a comprehensive reply on the application of Chaitnyanand Saraswati for a sanyasi robe and spiritual books mentioning the rule of jail manual. The application will be heard again on Monday.
The court has sought a response from Delhi Police on three applications moved on behalf of Chaitanyananda Saraswati seeking supply of seizure memo, signing of case diary and providing Sanyasi food, Sanyasi Garb, medicines and books, etc.
Delhi's Patiala House Court on Friday rejected the anticipatory bail plea of Chaitanyanand Saraswati. He had sought anticipatory bail in a case of alleged financial irregularities.
