Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) vice president Rajiv Shukla on Sunday attended the Pro Panja League finale at the IGI Stadium in New Delhi. Actor and co-owner of Pro League Panja, Preeti Jhangiani also graced the event with her husband Parvin Dabas.
Pro Panja League on Tuesday announced the complete list of players who will compete in the inaugural season, which will take place from July 28 to August 13 at the Indira Gandhi Arena in New Delhi.
The first season of Pro Panja League will kick off on July 28 and the final of the league will take place on August 13, 2023. The the 17-day sporting event aims to provide a professional set-up for the Indian armwrestlers for the first time.
Pro Panja League, the brainchild of Bollywood actors and producers Parvin Dabas and Preeti Jhangiani, will feature categories for Men, Women and Specially abled arm wrestlers. The arm-wrestlers competing in the first season have been selected after qualifying at an intense Ranking Tournament
