Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Friday directed his party leaders to "Please ensure there is no criticism of the new Chief and Army Staff."
In a letter, undersigned by AICC member and senior Congress leader Jitendra Singh, the president of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC), Bhupen Kumar Borah, has been directed to draw up a list of party leaders who skipped the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', Assam.
"I am getting information about the participation of some party leaders in the program organized by Silent Sunil in Bengaluru city. An explanation will be sought from the leaders who participated in the program," said Nalin Kumar Kateel.
"Congress is a party of elitist dynastic philosophy and mentality. The question is whereafter the party that talks about love apologise or do they support such statements made by the party leaders," said Poonawalla while talking to ANI.
Speakingf to ANI, a source said Nadda also asked the party leaders to reach out to the general public and spread the word on Prime Minister Narenda Modi handing keys of 3,024 flats to people from economically weaker sections (EWS), under 'In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation Project'.
Dar offered dialogue to resolve political issues, the sources said. Meanwhile, the Pakistan President, a member of PTI, told him his message would be conveyed to the party leadership which has shown a willingness to hold talks.
